Help With Scott 25 With 5 Lines Recut

Is this Scott 25 with 5 lines recut upper left triangle? Also any venture on the color of this stamp?

No this is not the 5 line recut.
In fact, there are no recut lines in the upper left triangle.
For it to be a 5-line recut, it would have to be a 25A and position 95L1L.

This stamp is a #25, not a 25A.

There is no such thing on a Type I or II perforated stamp. Even the 95L1L is an impossibility since Plate 1L was taken out of production some two years before the introduction of perforations.

Thanks guys! Sinclair my scott 2017 catalog says #25 3 cent rose ty I. 25a is tyII. What about color?

Right. What I am saying is that there is only one possibility of a 5 line recut on a perforated stamp. It is position 52L25 and is a Type III stamp.

The color of your stamp might be claret and might be slightly changed by atmospheric pollutants.
