I'm looking to fill a few empty spots. Struggling with IDing the difference between Scott 483 and 484. In a few pictures they look pretty much the same color. In another the 483 is purple while the 484 is more blue. Here is an ebay auction. They look the same???

Look carefully at the toga button near the bottom of the design. Can you see the outline or not?

Besides the toga lines, the line between the lips is heavier on 484 than on 483.

A picture is worth a thousand words.

The difference between the 483 on the left (type I) and the 484 (Type II).
484 has darker 1)lip separation line, 2) darker top of toga rope, 3) top of toga button.

I might add, the lip difference in the 484 makes George look more sullen.
