Here are a couple of Victoria stamps canceled with an R in a circle: Scott 169 and 173. Are these revenue cancellations? I didn't have any luck searching the internet. Thanks, any help appreciated. Robert ***Title Updated By Mod***

Those are very typical "Registered" cancels. You'll see them with thinner lines on the R and circle, too. |

It would be interesting to see scans of the different types of these cancels that Stamp Community members have in their collections. |

Nice strikes Bobby De La Rue - and not particularly easy to find. It took longer than I thought it would to find this selection: |

Nice array Fairdinkumstamps. The cover to Switzerland is quite nice, an uncommon destination. I can't make out the numeral or the datestamp though |

Thanks Bobby De La Rue - yes, a nice cover posted at Pleasant Hills, numeral 1529 (RRR) (upside down). Backstamps include nearby Henty, Albury and a Travelling Post Office. |
