Showgard Pre-Cut Clear In British Sizes

Hello All,

I'm having trouble finding Showgard clear pre-cut mounts in common sizes for British stamps, such as 21x24, 24x21, 44x27, 41x30, 30x35, 24x41. I've even tried looking to Canadian and British suppliers, but the best option I found charges 40 British pounds shipping, which seems more than a bit excessive. Any suggestions?

I know Brooklyn Gallery sells an assortment of mounts for British stamps (Showgard Assortment UK-1), but believe it is only available with black background.

You might want to contact Showgard directly to inquire on the availability of the British-sized mounts in clear.

Thanks for the ideas. I've already checked out a couple of those sites, but it was a good idea to contact Showgard directly regarding availability - I've done that and look forward to their reply even if it is negative. I have found a site here in the US, Golden Valley Stamps & Coins (https://www.gvstamps.com), that sells clear Showgard strips in the various heights. I was trying to avoid strips to help ensure consistency in width, but may have to use them if I don't find another reasonable pre-cut option.

Have you tried Robert Murray stamps in Edinburgh (actually Leith nearby)He sells clear Sureguard mounts. Shipping within the UK isn't excessive so I would hope he doesn't charge the earth for shipping to the rest of the world.

Thanks for the reminder about Robert Murray - I'd had trouble finding their website earlier this month, but found it this morning using a slightly tweaked search. Looks like they're closed until mid/late January.

Global Stamps has received much of my business over the years - may consider them for Prinz strips if I can't get Showgard, especially pre-cut.

I have never seen clear Showgard (or Scott) mounts sold precut.

I also order from Global since you get free priority mail shipping over $35. They ship fast. For large orders, others are more cost effective.

For what it's worth, I learned from Showgard today that they don't stock any British pre-cut sizes here in the U.S.

Global Stamps has them for most of their precut mounts. Each has an option to click for black vs clear, although both icons appear as solid black circles making the choice available a bit confusing.
