Really cool document! I notice some of the guys listed on it probably couldn't write as another gentleman signed their names for them on the right hand side.

Took me a few minutes to figure out the tax rate on the document. It is taxed as a receipt, but each payroll amount is a separate taxable entry. The receipt tax was 2¢ but only applied to amounts over $20. Sixteen of the payroll amount were over $20 so 32¢ tax (I kept getting the wrong amount but then realized that a few lines are included in both scans)

Interesting... that's a very late usage for a part perf. Also, nominally illegal as the stamps were not canceled.
