Hello,

I'm enjoying the community and thought it was time to introduce myself.

I started collecting worldwide as a cub scout in the 1980s. That continued to progress through the years. I started focusing on US Possessions and First Issues around 1990 (my mid teens). I continue with that focus today. I did take a bit of a break from 2004 - 2017 as my girls were growing. Now that they have hit mid-teens, I have had more time.

Right now my focus is on making album pages for my First Issues Collection. I collect the first issue of each stamp issuing entity. I primarily use Scott, but it would include what Scott considers the first issue -- Might be #1 (South Africa), #1-2 (US), #1-15 (BAT), 312-325 (Belize). You can check out our club website at www.firstissues.org I have also stretched the collection to include N's and L's to the collection. I love the history of the occupations.

My US Possession collection has a focus on Hawaii Postal History. I collect covers, cancelations, and other interesting items. I create album pages for these also. The remainder of the possessions are more of a fill in the album spot. I also have a US pre-1940 collection I have kept from the very beginning. I still add to it as the opportunity comes up, generally through trading.

I am an active trader and have a good accumulation of US and WW to trade.
