It seems that I am always asking difficult questions. This time I am struggling with one postmark on this cover which was originally addresses to an Canadian airman P.O. J.B. Taylor (R 93262) serving with the RAF in Ceylon. It was originally posted in Edmonton on the 17th JUne 1945. I have enhanced them in Photoshop







These two marks are fairly clear




Hopefully I will be able to track down some info re the Canadian Overseas Depot and how it worked.

The P.M. I am not sure of is this one



It looks very like the following from the South East Asia command from a separate cover



The question is what does the top line say ie what is before FORCES POST. My best guess is CANADIAN but is that correct. If so where was this hand stamp used? Unfortunately the bottom half of the strike is missing.
