I can't seem to find the red/brown 2 cent just a 1/2 cent

It is the 2 cent scarlet. It is heavily oxidized.

Note the uneven color across the face of the stamp. I believe it is a 'color changeling', a stamp whose original color has been changed by light or environmental exposure. http://stampsmarter.com/learning/Ar...gelings.html
