I did spot it earlier when checking perf guage, you were too quick

These fellas can make your hair curl, when doing them all at once.
They all begin to look the same.
Best route is ID by Wmk first, then work from there.

I am seeing the hardest to find is the 1957-58 Wmk 324 set.

Rod, I only caught this because I have been going cross-eyed sorting mine!

Curiosity:
Apart from the Scott Postage Stamp Catalogue, I could not find an example of the Watermark "Large Star and INDIA Govt in sheet" anywhere on the internet.
Amazing.

I make students aware in your image (which I shall use) the "G" in Govt
is more defined in the actual Wmk (Shown as Covi here)

OK, I have the Half Annas sorted, good to get this out of the way.

Exists 3 varieties, 1855 Unwatermarked (easy)
1865 Wmk 38 (Die l only) Exist Blue and Pale Blue.
1873 Wmk 38 Die ll

Die l v Die ll you ask?
I failed to get Gibbons suggestion, fortunately Her Majesty's eye, seem to rarely get cancelling ink.
So Die I will have 3 straightish lines under her Eye
Die ll appears to me to be an "h" or an "m" (sideways) under her eye

In my collection so far, I have 1 x Unwmk, 5 x Die 1, 5 x Die ll
Die I all appear to be "Pale Blue"

The Unwmk has a strange Postmark for me.

Die types can make your eyes pop after a while. From your pics, in Die II I notice the eyeball more clearly realised, more point and definition to the nose, better drawn lips - puckered for Albert's attentions, rather than curled to admonish Edward - the hair design to the right of the eye including a 'U' against a dark background. Much better job all round.
