Fake Wash-Frank Imperf?

Please see below. Found this specimen in a collection I bought today. The selvage pattern is ...curious. I suspected that it may be an imperforate Scott 409, 459(!), or 482 with bogus imperforation. Per stampsmarter, none of those carry plate #7772.

Any ideas?

Scott 463, for which #7772 is listed in Durland.

Mr. Becker: Thanks for the reply. I was not aware of the Durland resource. Now... how is it that a stamp has selvage on three sides?

I also tried the Stamp Smarter site and got an invalid # for 7772. Likewise when I entered Scott 463 I got only about half of the numbers that Durland lists.

The stamp is just scissor-trimmed into the adjacent stamps at top and left ... creating an illusion.

When I saw the this thread I double checked the database and noticed it had a typo which I immediately fixed. (Hence the in my post.)

Sorry for the inconvenience, with over 57,000 plate numbers entered into the database a few typos were inevitable and vetting every single number a challenge.

There are also plate numbers in the Stamp Smarter plate number database that are not in Durland. When new plate numbers are reported to me I require at least an image so I can verify its existence. This is not as good as having the material in hand so it is possible for errors to be made.
Like most publishers I reply upon 'crowd sourcing' to help me vet the accuracy of the data in the community projects. But unlike most publishers I get any errors fixed in minutes once notified.
