I'll carry on !
Well, Rod did say in the first post 'Let's try and get a good list'.

So, with that in mind, here's more for 'The List'!

A couple more pirates to go with the one Philb posted.

Here are some nice labels, a good effort.
By fast and expensive mail.....

By slow and Cheaper mail........

Londonbus1...also slow and cheap

The pirates remind me of a certain Epirus issue I always wanted.

I found the Flag and Infantryman issues of Epirus at Wikpedia but no pirate !

In the meantime, here are some other goodies.

If anyone comes across the above Glasgow Mail Service labels but Pre-Decimal, please advise.

Many thanks

I'm not sure Rowland Hill would have approved of the Postal strike, but nevertheless got his worldly face on one of the Strike labels....actually many of them.

Shown are just a few examples as they are all of the same design.
There are perfs,Imperfs,Colours, overprints and different types.....but all with Mr Hill.

I give you the EXPORTERS LETTER SERVICE.

If anyone wants more, I can scan them. Some are too cumbersome to scan.

Londonbus1....Cumbersome in the extreme.

LB, do you have any Rowland Hill you'd be prepared to part with?

Seems like you've cornered the 1971 market!

Goodness me, they still keep coming.
Amazing collection you have there London,
I have exhausted mine I think.
I have some Bannockburn, but I think they are propaganda labels
and not strike mail.
Keep up the good work! :)

I have no dupes but you can find reasonably-priced selections on Delcampe. Also not so reasonably priced !
Many of these and other Strike labels have shot up in price in recent years. But they are still plentiful.
Occasionally you can get lucky on ebay too. I recently won a lot that included some of the items shown here for almost nothing ! But I was lucky, the same stuff is on offer now for upwards of €6 a piece.

I have seen a few on cover but most of the labels I have seen are either Colour trials,Specimens or Essays ! Someone trying to make some money methinks.
But there are other Bogus or Propaganda strike issues too.

Ok then, while I am here....more stuff !

The cabbies of Plymouth Postal Strike service.
Kemble design and Printed by the Western Litho Company.

I love these.

Nice cover Stampgal !
These were probably delayed until the end of the strike in March.
Nice to see it was business as usual though

Here are some more labels that look remarkably like the 1962 People's League Delivery.

Europa Air Mail.

Londonbus1....scraping the barrel almost !

Just landed on my desk and they are delightful.
A nice addition to the same series I showed earlier.
I have been moaning about the price of Cinderella material lately but these two gems came very cheaply. I had not previously been able to add to this series for many yeras...I just never see them.
The others shown previously were not cheap.

So well chuffed is an understatement.

Strikebus1....I wonder if there's more
