I'm not really sure what I have so I'd like to learn about it as much as possible before I sell it all. It was my grandparents collection that I now have. Still haven't looked through all of it but some I've seen date to the 40's
Most unused material (referred to as mint original gum) from the 40's to today is only worth what is printed on the face. Meaning you can use a bunch of them to mail a letter. If you tried to sell them in bulk, then you might get 60-90% of the face value of the stamp. There are some exceptions, but it he had a bunch of sheets from the 1940-1960s, then likely what you would get. You can post other pictures to more details.
