Many countries have issued stamps featuring the work of Norman Rockwell. If you have some you'd like to share please post.

I live 20 minutes from the Rockwell Museum and have seen many of his works in person. Just beautiful.

The tension in a Rockwell masterpiece.......
Is the glass of Coca Cola going to slip off the Book ?
Is the waste bin going to catch fire?
Self Portrait.
Includes, Durer, Rembrandt, Van Gogh.......and Mondigliani ? Mondrian?

I like the Raffia chair / stool, holding the mirror, we had one at home, it always squeaked when one sat on it.

I was thrilled to see that our trip to the Corning Museum of Glass could include, by walking a coupla blocks, a side trip to the Smithsonian-affiliated Rockwell Museum.

Wrong Rockwell.

Cheers,

The consolation is that you wouldn't have to look at wall-to-wall Reader's Digest-style illustration

The United States 1994 Norman Rockwell souvenir sheet freatures four paintings inspired by the four freedoms (freedom of speech, freedom of worship, freedom from want, freedom from fear) in a speech by President Franklin D Roosevelt to the US Congress in January 1941. More than one million people saw these paintings on a 16-city tour to promote war bonds.

Also shown here is a set of 1978 poster prints of the Four Freedom paintings.
