Ink Traces On The Reverse Of Coil Stamps?

Given that it's normal for early 20th century flat plate printings to display traces of ink on the reverse, is the same true (normal) for coil varieties?

Yes, coils from the flat plate press will also display ink specks on the gum side. Dave
