I am currently creating album pages for Australia and New Zealand, having previously made pages for GB amongst others. These pages will include placeholders for Se-Tenant blocks/strips and miniature sheets. I would like to know if collectors would prefer these issues in a separate document or included on the same page(s) as the single issues. Any feedback would be appreciated.
I do not put singles and se-tenants of same issues on a pages but will do mini-sheets if they are different (more than a plain set version), I keeps in a separate album.
I was about to comment that you will likely get a variety of responses, including "It is your collection and you can arrange it as you like", and I notice some variety of opinion is showing up.
I like having spaces for se-tenant blocks, strips, AND singles on an album page. Miniature sheets I'll include on the same page if there is room (I have Harris albums with 9x12 inch pages), or I'll mount those on pages immediately after the page with the singles / blocks / strips.
I personally don't have a compelling need to fill every space on a page. As I may not always know which se-tenant arrangement I may be able to find I like to have space for the options, even if an album page isn't always filled up. Alternatively, if there isn't a space for a particular arrangement I'll insert a blank page in the album for it rather than mount it somewhere else.
