Stumbled upon this machine canceled Scott #914 (Belgium) stamps of 1943.The red color in the right of the flag is absent and in its place, is a plain colorless strip.

Looks like a good possibility of being a color omitted, BUT, I believe I have to to send the stamp for expertization because none are known.

Even if it is a fake. still why go to the trouble of making one?

I took a picture under a digital microscope and did a side by side comparison with an original.

Please let me know your comments
Thanks

Opinion,
Gem or Fake?...Neither.
Light or chemical damage, colour has just faded.
