Trying to figure out why my OX36 is no longer listed in Scott.

Edit: this is a semi cross post from a post I created in the Facebook Advanced Collectors Group.

I would suggest you contact the editors of the Scott US Specialized Catalogue and ask them the question. Perhaps they decided that OX36 was a perforation variety of the same stamp as OX 37 and not a regularly issued seal or they could find no examples of OX36 and delisted it. It appears from Kotanchik's book that a number of perforation varieties exist on that issue.

Yeah. Contacted Scott to see what's up. Only real stamp it could be. Very soft, thick paper per 12 1/2 * 8 1/2

**update**
After some back and forth with pictures and measuring, Scott has decided to put the OX36 back in for their 2021 catalog based upon my stamp. Not gonna lie, kinda cool to get Scott to change something.

Once you have examples of the gray paper and the egg or cream colored paper, the difference is obvious and they are easy to sort out.

The paper type is also important. Thick soft paper
