Nora - I mentioned it because I've done it for the same reason, then thought "Why did I do that?" You should just need a dab of glue stick etc on the mount - makes it easier to reposition if necessary. Glad you're obviously safe and well, by the way! |

Thanks Geoff. I am so glad you are well too. Could you suggest clear mounts that would give me some flexibility with size. So far I have used Mystic Clear mounts, pre cut and I also bought a showgard "jet set" combo pack. Nora. |

I buy my strips from Global Stamps and have for many years. They seem to have the best prices on a consistent basis. |

I have my Mexico through 1940 on Steiner pages. On the very early issues I have some of the different overprints for districts (Tampico, Mexico DF, Guadalajara, etc.) But I don't have separate spaces for different overprints on the same issue.
Do you all know of anyone who makes pages for the various district overprints? Or are homemade pages the only real option? |

Thank you boydxdiggs- those two were not as easy for me to find - had a hard time finding decently centered and a good fair price. I actually bought the 5P from a dealer in New Zealand :) took a while to get to Houston Texas but so glad I found it. |

Hi all. Hoping someone might be able to help me with two stamps. I am pretty certain that the stamp on the right is sc106e. When I look at my catalogue it shows under 106 - e is without overprint. The other stamp I thought to be sc106 - but that one also does not have an overprint - however, it looks slightly different. Any insight? I was hoping it might give me some color options to differentiate the 106 from the 106e - but nothing like that. Maybe I am not understanding the catalogue properly. Below = Picture of stamps side by side and Pic of Scott Catalogue Thanks. I will try to scan images, but my phone scan is not the best. Nora. |

Hi Nora, the large font heading describes the following set as " Overprinted....etc & etc"
Ergo, the "without imprint" is the variety.
Sc#106 comes with an overprint as does all in the set.
Hope that makes sense. Lovely stamps, missing in my collection.
You have 2 x Hidalgo Sc#106e

Thanks Rod. I guess I'm confused shouldn't these have an over print to be 106? It doesn't matter to me either way, but I want to be sure I'm understanding the variation meaning. Edit: Ignore me ROD! I see it is 106e now from your note. :) |
