They appear to be Scott number 116, "Liberty Head", 100 reis, carmine and black. ("Cem", which is Portuguese for one hundred, not "Gem" as in the title of your thread) issued around 1894-97. The poor centering is typical for this stamp, Scott notes that "values for this set are for stamps cut into the design on one or two sides due to narrow spacing of the stamps...." In addition the one on the right is quite faded. Looks like it was used in the city of Bahia. Value in the 2014 Scott is 50 cents
The Vignette is of "Liberty" She comes with 2 faces, (type l and Type v [redrawn]) I find 1 has the line of the nose Concave and the other Convex. Stanley Gibbons America Asia and Africa 1969
