Good morning

Last night I was looking through ebay and saw an old National album for sale and I noticed ion some of the pictures, there were Scott pages for Christmas Seals.

Does anyone know if those ever came as part of a National Album or were they sold as a separate set? I had never seen them before

Thanks

Never seen those before. But they're interesting. I thought White Ace was the only publisher that sold pages for Christmas Seals. I have an album of them. But I would prefer the Scott pages. Too bad they don't still publish them. Scott/Amos is an odd company. They abandon album pages all the time because they don't sell many of them. Why do that? Just print pages when people order them. Why abandon anything? It's all computerized now, anyway.

I imagine they're long out of print. In any case, I've never seen them for sale. What's the last year of the pages you saw, I wonder? If they cover quite a few years, I suppose someone could photocopy them to sell to collectors who were interested, as Scott is unlikely to hold any copyright after so many years especially after abandoning them. But I'm no lawyer. Printing onto Scott-sized paper would take only minutes.

Rod, I have Don's pages and they are great. But I would love to find those matching Scott pages to go along with the rest of my National BOB pages.

Drew, there were only 2 pages in the scans and I'm not sure what year they went up to. I didn't save the listing to go back and find it. I checked about 6 old Nationals I had here and none of them had those pages. I had never seen them before either.

Right, that makes sense.
I like all my albums to follow Steiner, and make similar pages for stamps not covered by him.
The seals were too involved for me, to make pages, so Don's pages were fab.
