Hello
I need help to identify this variety (white spot between number 2 and 0)
In the Michel catalog the variety appears on the stamp with the inscribed "Pfennige" (Mi # 34V) but not on the stamp with the inscription "Pfennig" (Mi # 42) - my case.
I look forward to any ideas on this case or further information. Thank you

The Michel-Handbuch-Katalog "Pfennige" is more helpful than the Spezial here. It illustrates the plate flaw. Your stamp is not Mi. 34 PF V., but is instead just a printing irregularity.

The plate flaw is half way down between the "2" and the "0". I don't have one of these stamps to show.

Thanks bookbndrbob.
I thought it was a type V flaw. I didn't find any copies on the net.
It is therefore an inconsistent variety.

cupram,

Here's what MiNr. 34 V looks like, from the ArGe Krone/Adler's Freimarkenausgabe PFENNIGE Deutsches Reich 1875 Herstellung und Plattenfehler.
