I need to mail a block of stamps from Connecticut to Ontario. Stamps could fit in a regular sized envelope. Value is US $200. Tracking # and delivery signature are requirements. What are my best options for mailing. Obviously would like to minimize cost if possible.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Bob

Why do you need tracking for a $2 item?

Tracking number and signature would require something like First Class Package International service with a customs form. It may be possible to use a third party mail consolidator. Endicia (stamps.com) has a service for mailing flats to Canada and other countries starting at about $7. The buyer may be required to pay GST (tax). First Class Mail International is restricted to items with no value and does not have tracking.

I mailed a First Class Package International from Detroit to Montreal, Canada yesterday. USPS estimates delivery on April 23rd.

Jarnick, that is a long timeline. According to google maps it can be driven in a bit more than nine (9) hours as it is only 559 miles away, but across the border.
I used to receive parcels from Rasdales in Illinois to Cape Breton Nova Scotia in about 10 to 12 days. Google shows a 30 hr trip across 1881 miles or 1/2 way across the continent.
Seems like everything is really slowing down, crawling, and possibly in part to this dreaded virus on the rampage now.
