I found the following in an old album I bought:

In the Scott Classic Specialized Catalogue I can only find it imperforated used in Sardinia. There are perforated examples used in Italy but not this one...
Was this stamp used somewhere else or is it just a reprint/forgery?

The perforations are bogus. These were made to trick collectors by passing a Sardinia stamp as part of the Kingdom of Italy 1st issues.Even though the 5c does not exist. There were many unknowing collectors in the early days.
Also there were private perforated stamps but these are really curiosities…
There were some theories that they could be experimental perfs prior to the Kingdom issues...but most of that has been debunked since the early
half of the 1900's.
