Good Afternoon All,

Just hoping I could get someone to assist me with identifying this stamps watermark - Have a couple pictures here. 1912+ Bahamas George V.
I can't see the forest through this tree in front of me.

Thanks!

Adding more pics - however these didn't help me. The stamp is soaked in watermark fluid (Prinz Super Safe).

No, no forgery here. With a little determination, I took some better pictures after being completely frustrated by this one. I believe I have something now but still can't make out the watermark orientation. Please have a look - and give it a guess - much appreciated.

Okay, maybe I'm seeing letting at the top and that's why I can't figure this out.

Not sure I traced this correctly.

I think you answered this one previously John.

Where is all this red, brown, green and blue coming from?
For those of us who don't collect Bahamas or have a catalog handy, please post a normal scan of the front side. Thank you.

Colors are from my Detectamark Spectrum Watermark Detector. Believe you answered another one just like this John - I could just be seeing things though... Still struggling.

Possibly Corrected Trace - Could just be seeing things.

Can you just take a picture with a bright light behind it? That may work

It looks like an upright crown in lower right corner when viewed from the front. It's too low to see if any letters below it. May be a light watermark or very thick paper

Chalcky paper making it hard for watermark fluid to soak the paper. You can see two points of watermark, one right in front of king's nose, and another one in the lower left corener (from the back) right at your twizers. From the spacing and outlines it looks like wtmk 3 (Miltiple Crown CA) upright?, SG#87 1912-1919 issue. To support this, the stamp color looks grayish black which only listed as SG 87 in SG catalog. But this is just an educated guess.

Late to the party, but I agree with partime and danko.

Here's what they're talking about. The arrows point to outside edges of the crowns (and not at the same place on each.)
