The images show my recently acquired copy of Scott #24, position 56L10. There is a strong C-shaped curl at upper left in ornaments AB, at least as striking as some of the other well-known curls on these stamps. I have been looking at these One-Centers for many years and do not recall ever seeing or hearing about this as a known variety before. The image of this position in the Doporto photo archive shows traces of this curl, and Lot 972 in Siegel sale 1016 shows an ex-Neinken block of 45-46/55-56L10 in which a good part of the curl can be seen in 56L10. Have any of the One-Cent Blue specialists out there been aware of this variety before?

Nice catch. It's clearly what you say, consistent and not recorded in Neinken.
