What a a crazy time we are living in. This Pandemic is WOW!!

I shipped an ebay package from Rhode Island to Maryland on April 6th with tracking.
The tracking gave no updates for 11 days so I called to inquire.
It was stalled in New Jersey for 10 or so days.

The item shipped was a 20 lb 1822 pulpit Bible.

Finally delivered on April 26th to my buyers office. He hopes that he is able to get to his office and bring it home soon.

Be safe and stay healthy!

There are many USPS slowdowns. I've had 4 or 5 claims opened by ebay buyers in the last few weeks for slow items - all eventually arrived.

Hey, I've had tracking and am still waiting after a year. And that's before the CCP Virus.

Here's a good one. I shipped to Long Beach CA on the 12th, arrived in LA on the 16th, headed east to Minneapolis and is still in transit;

Sometimes the USPS can be inexplicably slow, even without COVID-19 getting in the way. Several years ago, I got something in the mail that took a week to get from the Richmond, CA sorting facility to my house. To walk that distance would take me no more than an hour.

The challenge is proving it is due to the virus as we all see strange delays. Is someone already working on a postal history exhibit on the virus?
