Scott #479, 479ii Or Scott #479iii ?

Wret's post with the Scott #479 made me check mine.
I noticed right off that there are two shades one is a dark blue and the other is much lighter blue.
There're other differences also that I've pointed out in one of the photo's below.
Do you think this is a red over blue variety?

To me the top Scott 479 is normal, the bottom 479 is a 479ii or 479iii, but you have the stamp in hand to decide whether it is HB paper or dull paper.

The dish on the bottom stamp is shifted up and to the left.

The red over blue is done with half-tone printing. The dish is yellow and when red is added to the printing, it gives it an orange colour.

I looked at both of your stamps and added a graphical image manipulation program..The one on the left is your top stamp {normal} but the right stamp image is your second {bottom} stamp which has all the indicators of 479ii or 479iii......See pic. below.

Thank's Robert, I thought the bottom stamp was a 479ii or 479iii also but there was one shown in a earlier post by partime and it shows at the top also.
I don't see any red on blue where the wind vane crosses.
I'll have to look up how to identify HB paper.

This stamp was line perforated 10.86 (11).

How does it compare with others? Would this not still be within any tolerances?
I mean after rounding off, shrinkage and minor errors in equipment used or person using it.

It falls within all of the other line perforated 11 BABN Canada stamps from 1968 to 1978 such as 479-481, 513-514, 518, 533-534, 600-601

Is there a particular stamp location within a sheet where the red over black is consistent?
