Does anyone have a picture that explains the difference between these Scott's Catalogue numbers. The editors describe a set of faint blue dots behind type in area below vignette (for 3932 and 3933). How faint is faint? Do I need a 20x loupe to see these dots or are they visible with an unaided eye? Any help in showing the difference would be appreciated.

Are you referring to faint blue dots appearing in the vertical bar between "20 g" and "FRANCE" at the bottom of the stamps?

NSK - Yes I am trying to see how faint the blue dots are and exactly where they are on the stamps. Thanks for the response.

I get the impression from a site that is systematically censored here that a reading magnifier will suffice.

But what stamps are you talking about? I've not got any Scott catalogue and I can't understand what you mean.

@vayolene,

annoyingly, people keep using Scott numbers for Europe and colonies stamps and do not post pictures . My guess is that he is talking about the 21-1-2011 materials set from booklets and issued in sheets on 24-1-2011. One stamp is a material from Polynesia - probably Yvert A514 & A514A -, the other that from Japan - probably Yvert A520 and A520A -.

NSk - Yes that is the set I am asking about. Sorry about using Scott's numbers but that is the only catalogue I have.

@swyoda52
That is why pictures help. It helps those who do not have the Scott catalogue - many of us in Europe do not use it - to identify the stamp ou are talking about. I have no knowledge of French stamps. But vayolene sure does, I think.
