Healthcare Workers Cancel

I've been buying quite a few stamps lately and most cases the envelope is covered in older stamps.
However the post office generally fails to cancel the stamps.
Here's one I just received that was canceled and with stamps that seem so appropriate for the slogan
Is this a Canada Post Office cancel? If yes good for them.

Bill, its a Canada Post machine cancel. Can't quite make out the date struck over the stamp itself. All I can make out is 2005****. As well there may well be a flourescent ink machine bar code on the bottom, which the sorting office has been doing the last several years, on the back which usually has date at end.

And wow, that flag stamp almost looks like a reuse, as well the cover looks a bit grubby or dirty in image. And again when I look closer it appears the original label was removed and a shorter one put on. You can see shading differences at both sides of that new label.

No1, the address label is undisturbed I just blocked out the address with a white block with a photo program.
The envelope is new and clean it's just that it's a cream colour with a pinkish smudge all over it.
I'll work with some photo's tomorrow and see if I can't reveal what's on the right stamp along with the back of the cover. "Thanks"

The blocking I understand, but the label itself. Maybe clear no gloss tape holding down the label edges?

I don"t see anything in the cancel on the front or the back that indicates a date, which kind of sucks if you don't have a date.
Is the date in a code using the dashes on the back cancel?

The 20050901 is almost certainly the date, explained as:
20 = 2020
05 = May
09 = 9th
01 = 1am or machine 1

It makes a great addition to a modern postal history collection. It would look nice paired with the Great Britain slogan I posted several weeks ago.

Scott 1546 {1995}
Scott 1986 {2003}

Why cant the date just be...2005.Sep.01..?? {2005.09.01}

Bill, now with the clear image, you can see date as John mentions. You can also see in that barcode at right end that it went through the sorting equipment on Ma09. Robert I believe the last two digits are the hour of the day.
