Ryan,
That is a great cancel. I am curious about the CTN monogram also. Maybe the toning was from that side of the selvedge sticking outside of the protective album or place where the stamp was stored?

Timbres667,
And that is a nice flag cancel. I haven't seen that one before, although I am not a collector of them, they are nice to look at. It would be nice to see the whole cancel on cover (lettre) some time.

Hmmm, whilst here,
Jamaica
"Black River" ? and... "Letterbox"

Retaining the QV engraving, a slug has been placed
at the hairline, and a Laurel wreath engraved in place
of the diadem.

The Indian State of Jhalawar believed in making sure its stamps weren't going to be reused. Here is a registered cover from Jhalawar (no registration markings; it must have been registered from the franking)

and here is the stamp lurking under those decorative killer postmarks

Rod a squared circle postmark on the second one?

The same postmark I hold, as treasures in KGVs.

Amazing, on a Jamaican stamp.

A clear cancel on an old stamp. I collect Canada when I was young and it look like I was choosing nice cancel stamp sometime. Daniel
