Not I, Populations can be a bit tricky in country towns. I wonder if they take into account farms.

You beat me by 44 persons. Mandurama NSW population 300 Famous area for Australiana and Bushrangers. The town required the presence of about 27 Mounted and Foot Police, specifically with the aim of controlling the frequent appearance of bushrangers in the area. One notorious bushranger directly related with the Coombing Park property was Mickey Bourke who shot and killed an employee of Coombing Park whilst he was stealing a racehorse from the stables. some 20 years after the property had been purchased in 1881 by the Cobb & Co coaching company and occupied by a partner of the Cobb & Co firm, a Mr William Franklin Whitney. Whitney's descendants still own and live on the property. It retains much Cobb & Co memorabilia. The property is still a working farm. |

Not sure I am 100% certain what the theme is of this thread. Is it just cool cancels, or more specific? I'll share this one anyway... |

And on the back of this cut corner is part of a view of the stands from this Olympic Games. I do wish that the card had been intact but it is a great commemorative cancel none the less. |

Interesting stamps Rodney! Both unused?
I used to have some of the Madagascar issues but unfortunately sold them a long time ago. |

A lot of Australian postmarks in this thread but truly, a town named for a rodent? (I am, of course, ignoring all the ones up here with "beaver" in various combinations) And can anyone complete the name on this one for me? Otherwise a lovely cancel. |
