Hey team, here are some closeups from my covers of imperfs

This is my favourite by far, I don't know why, but I really like this cover and especially this stamp.

I take the position that it's not always cracked up to what we hope.

Those are two nice #9s, stallzer! They're so hard to find with both the top and bottom showing.

Hobsun013, that's a superb "Sandwich" cancel! I've never seen that one before. Do you know what the full town name was on the CDS?

I believe it to be Centre Sandwich, NH. Per the Jim Forte Website this existed from (1823 - 1893). Looks like from 1893 forward it was Center Sandwich. That is not definitive but that would be my guess. I acquired this one back in 2009.

Laurie, Your first stamp appears to be from plate 1L, with one line recut in the upper left triangle. The color is oxidized, giving it a blackened appearance. A Hydrogen Peroxide treatment could restore it closer to its original color.

Your second stamp appears to have two lines recut in the upper left triangle. The plate position probably is 61L2L.

Your third one probably is from plate 2L or 3. It looks like a nice printing, with the two curved lines clearly showing in the upper left triangle.

I like your fourth one a lot too! It appears to be a good-quality printing with nice color, and balanced margins. It also has a light cancel that is completly free of the face. I think face-free cancels are one of the most important aspects a stamp's eye-appeal.

Nice, four-margin stamp, Stephen! Geometric cancels are fairly scarce on 11A.
