One last thought. Should you decide to sell the strip, you probably need to make prospective buyers aware of the "Frankenstein nature" of your stamps. They sort of masquerade as a cross between type I & type III. In the end, they were viewed by an expert (cfrphoto) who opined that they were indeed type III, even though some type III characteristics appeared unclear or missing. As a buyer, if I weren't forewarned about these stamps, I would likely return them to you indicating that they had been misidentified.

I see many scans of stamps on these threads that are too small to see sufficient detail to help identify them. I don't know what hardware and software others are using, but I am using an old (CS-2) version of Photoshop and an Epson WF-3540 printer/scanner. By scanning at 1200 DPI and using Photoshop to control the size of the file to 200KB it seems to me the images might be more amenable to analysis. Here is an example. Hover over the image and left click to enlarge the image.

Just a thought for what it's worth.
