Oriental buff is a pink. The first four are on white. The last three seem to be the same paper but are not white and appear to be oriental buff but are probably toned white. Oriental buff for this issue/value is only known unused. If you (the original poster) feel these are oriental buff, then get them expertised.

BTW, 1c blue on oriental buff with watermark 12 occurs on UPSS size 8 which is 85 X 149 mm give or take a mm in any direction.

Thomas Galloway shows an excellent comparison of the paper colors.
Be aware that you cannot use his example to match an exact color.
You can only use it to compare relative colors of the physical examples you have in hand.

In any case, a U298 will always need a certificate to be worth anything more than a dollar.

All the postal stationary in the image appears to be discolored and/or oxidized. To get a true sense of the paper color, look at the inside flap.
