Hi
Wonder if anyone can help - been working through my collection for last 18 months and now reached s! This stamp from st.vincent was originally from 1984 and valued at 60c but has been overprinted to 20c. I can't find any evidence in catalogues or anywhere else on the net. Any ideas?
Thanks
Russell

Thanks for your quick reply and the information. That has been really helpful, but query number 2 - I can't find it in Stanley Gibbons or on Steiner album pages. Am I looking in the wrong place!

According to the listing on page 29 of 30 of the below fascinating site, the earliest use of this overprint was on 17th October 2001. The cancel on the stamp above suggests December 2001, which fits in with this date. This is designated in the illustrations of the overprints as stamp 36B, new value in upper left corner.
