Warren Harding is known for the 50 613 rotary coil 11 by 111 precancel and 49 used including the famous strip of 3:any way tell me where this one fits in 613 Harding?

is it an anomaly

A lot of fun can be had with that series and an Exacto knife. They look better as bi-colors! A bit scrappy, but I got these many years ago in a collection and couldn't throw them out:

Yes, but someone cut out the Harding vignette which happens to be black, and pasted it over a McKinley stamp - also black.

I like John's series. Quite a nice set.

John's set is a neat little piece of folk art. Glad you did not throw them out!
I especially like that revalued 20 cent Buffalo.
He looks a little sharper framed in red.

These also show up on cover from time to time; it was a popular pastime among some collectors in the 20's and 30's.
