Don, thank you so much for including the postal card pages on Stamp Smarter. I've recently gone from a casual to a serious interest in them and these pages should prove most helpful.

The NVI stamps appreciated also,
Fabulous work, amazes me how you do it.

An aside,
I was watching a US vehicle restoration series on TV,
and saw a "Bullet Nose" Studebaker, taken apart,
they used the front for a bath vanity.

I have lists of the serial numbers for the known examples of the various 1940 handstamp overprinted revenues, if you are interested. It is very likely not 100% complete, but it is close.

Does anybody know what the serial numbers are on the Documentaries after 1951? I have an R679 with serial number 003111 and I have searched and searched and cannot find anywhere this stamp with that low a serial number.

They all seem to be 045000 and up.

Don, I have some additions/correctionss to what has become a census of the 1940 handstamps, I will work on the Silver Tax first.
RG55, 406471 sold in Siegel in 12/2/89 and went through the PSE
406480 is actually RG 55a double overprint

RG 56, 147016 was missed

RG57, 377133 sold by Siegel 1n 12/2/89 and went to PSE, also 377134 is missing

I knew about the double op, I just forgot to mention it. As I said to Don, I am sure that I missed a few numbers along the way.
