I was cleaning out the garden shed at my mom's over the weekend and found these up on the top shelf. Is there any kind of a market for these? I have done some searching and really haven't found out too much. Any and all info would be appreciated. I thank you in advance.
These are not stamps or official postal stationery. Also, air mail is no longer a separate service with the US Post Office so light-weight envelopes to keep down the cost of airmail service is no longer of use. You might sell them to someone at a rate of less than regular plain envelopes, per hundred, but as they are light weight you might find it hard to find a buyer since they are not very durable. My suggestion is to share them with your friends and family to use as regular envelopes, or donate them to a charitable organization that mails things out regularly. I don't see any money going into your pocket from them, unfortunately.
Thanks for the input. Over all, I found 2 large boxes or cases. So I have over 4000 envelopes now. HAHAHAHAHA I honestly did not know if there was a market for them or anything. Didn't have a clue if I could sell them or if I need to get writing letters. Thank guys! I appreciate your input.
