These two stamps have allegedly been withdrawn due to Pakistan protests.

1. Is that true ?
2. What is the reason for the protest ?
3. They were supposedly withdrawn the same day and destroyed. However, while they are not offered in abundance, if offered, the are rather cheap ? What is the reason ?

Thank you for information
Dieter

At least for the protests, if they happened as part of the stamp issue, they seem to have a rational.

Afghanistan and Pakistan are bordered through the Durant Line (established in 1893, slightly varied over time). This "artificial" border has separated the Pashtun tribal land. It seems that Afghanistan has claims over the Pakistani side of the Pasthun land either directly or through encouraging Pashtuns on the Pakistani side to create their own country.
