Hello Floortrader. Great to hear from you again, some fond memories. I hope you and your WW collection are well! I still travel to the US often, having visited several times a year for over 3 decades it is a long-standing love affair and I often go simply for fun as well as philately. I got married in Asheville NC a couple of years ago as part of a road trip between the Smithsonian Postal Museum and New Orleans and often call in on old friends, collectors and non-collectors both. Stay in touch!

We here in Asheville would love to have you come back and visit; our local club is thriving and recently hit a record for membership. We are currently meeting via Zoom each month but have plans to resume our popular monthly meetings soon.

Hi Don. Fond memories of your town, we got married in the back yard of 'At Cumberland Falls', no friends or family but we held a party when we got back to the UK so got to dress up twice. That evening we took a taxi to the Biltmore Estate, the look of horror on the maitre d's face as a newly- wedded couple approached was something to behold! (I'm told weddings start at 100K there) I made it worse by asking what were all these other diners doing here as we'd booked the place for our wedding! I thought he was about the faint so put him out of his misery and received free Champaign all evening. I'm sure we'll get back there one day, I'll let you know.
