Video meetings can never completely replace in person gatherings. However, they open up attendance opportunities to folks who for one reason or another cannot fit in person attendance into their schedule. They may turn out to be the biggest unanticipated positive consequence for our hobby caused by our viral calamity.

Please post information on upcoming philatelic video meetings on this thread. Include the usual date and time and topic to be covered as well as coordinator contact information, sponsoring group, and pre registration requirements and fees.

Morning Kirks and all,

I notice no digital meetings are posted at https://goscf.com/f/26, yet. Hopefully, more local and regional club or topic focused digital conversations will be announced someplace consistent to make them easier to keep track of. We all have an expanded geographic horizon to draw participants from if we take advantage of this new digital format.

There are clubs around the country hosting meetings online. Some are open to visitors attending, while others like to keep their meetings closed to local members only.

The APS has provided a listing of clubs who welcome visitors from abroad which can be found here.

If your club is not on the list, but you would like to promote a meeting, please share your information with us.

Scott
