Defective Five Cents?

I would like your opinion on this 5 cents that, as you can see from the photos, has a defect under the chin due by chance during the printing phase ?Moreover the line of the chin is missing and the dashes of the face seem different from other specimens .I thank you for your kindness, excuse me for the English grammar errors when I get help as a translator.

Since a part of the cancellation covers the unprinted area, it appears that there was some foreign material on the stamp paper before printing. After printing (and before use) this material fell off the stamp leaving the white areas...which were subsequently cancelled.

Hold the stamp up to a light, or put it in watermark fluid to make sure that the area in question was not thinned, rather than unprinted.

The shade (or tone, per Don) is quite different between the 2 stamps. Also in the picture below, the lower left ribbons differ where the one on the left seems to have some plate wear. This also appears to be true in Washington's hair, above his ears.

Thank you for pointing out the difference in the ribbon that I had not detected. I wonder if there is any variant unknown to me or printing problems?
