Western Austria Pal Pronay, Resistance Fighter

acorn here. been thinking for awhile for some topic to collect in stamp collecting and this topic seems fascinating.
anyway I found some western austrian stamps and one with the picuture of the leader of a resistance fighter by the name, PAL PRONAY, scott 75, denomination of 10 kor. from my readings most of these western austria stamps have a catalog value of 1 or 2 dollars, but sell in the u.s. for much more. why is that?

First Issues Collectors Club website provides information on Western Hungary which seems to indicate that the validity of these stamps is highly questionable. Of course, this has little to do with demand by collectors.

Look up WESTERN HUNGARY ,on the right side bar for 7 pages of these stamps

This link in Hungarian & English(half way down) lists all the stamps
For instance the Pal Pronay stamps (VII issues) were only officialy
sold from the 11-17 1921. So that makes used copies on cover scarce.

nice to get very helpful references. I did some research on this general and found out he had the character of a barbarian. I purchased a stamp set that included a stamp honoring him, before I found this out. tried to cancel order, to no avail. i'll have to consider to sell it at aps stamp store where I sell my stamps.
