A pleasant find in a box lot but it came with an unknown cancel on the stamp. Without knowing, I am assuming from the coloured ink and the straight line format, that it is a fiscal cancel of some description but what I see is what first came to my eyes "Jambes" (Legs?????) and then a fuzzy date in November of 1919.
That is great information. I can use this as the basis for an interesting write-up for that particular stamp. It is scarce enough in decent used condition that it deserves a page all to itself in my collection. Thank you.
