Hello everyone! I collect documents, letters, and other ephemera and have recently gotten into collecting US covers up to 1945. Over time I've acquired a few hundred WWII letters with their cover and that's mostly what got me interested in collecting older covers.

My favorite series is the 1869 pictorials and I hope to get a full set of covers of scott 112 to 119 in the future (but cant make a full set since theres not many covers of scott 120 and only one cover of scott 121 ). So far I have three 113, a bunch of 114, and one 115.

I'm looking forward to learning more about early US stamps since I find it hard to know the difference between scott 10 and 11, etc.

Here's one of my favorite covers,

Welcome, Ecostic!

That's an outstanding cover!

I'm a #10/11 specialist, and I can help with identification of the 3-cent imperforates.

I invite you to the 1851-57 imperforate topic at the link below:

Experienced stamps need a home too. I'd rather have an example that is imperfect than no example.
I collect for enjoyment, not investment.

Beautiful cover. Good luck in your quest for more.

Collecting for the enjoyment of collecting, whatever that might be, is the name of the game. Don't hesitate to ask questions especially if you need basic information and especially more advanced sources of information for any possible topic. You should be able to find folks on this board a little further along on their collecting journey glad to share experiences. Russ
