Steevh; please tell me where I explained or in any way said I had a "strategy of buying unbelievable bargains from unbelievable sellers." I never made any claim that I was buying anything that I thought was too good to be true; although I did make the apparently awful assumption that when I bought a stamp(s) advertised as MNH or with/without watermarks it would actually not have dog hair and a hinge mark on the back (and yes, I got a stamp with an actual hair on it although did not do a DNA analysis on it to determine what species said hair came from. My best guess was border collie, maybe a similar breed though...) I had a bad run, and tried to make light of it in a humorous way, that's all. I've learned my lesson and the next time I'll ask about every single stamp advertised as MNH for the princely sum of $.30. Sure sellers will jump all over that! Quite sure that's the kind of buyer you like to deal with too, right?
I'm generally referring to Ecuador 62 A-H; not exactly high-dollar stuff; and I also never claimed I was being ripped off. I hope you'll uphold your end by putting the back scan of every single stamp you sell though.
Think you are reading way too much in to what was supposed to be a stab at humor in a post meant to be in jest of the frivolities that do indeed go on/at
ebay and other sites daily. If you can't laugh at all the "Rare" and "Scarce" stamps on
ebay that we all know aren't rare at all; I'll ship a good bottle of gin to you; although you may and probably do have better stuff locally in the UK.
Cheers!
