Another modern one... Tuvalu, issued in 2002, a set of 4 plus a souvenir sheet of 2 for the rights of the child. The stamp was 100% designed locally and sent to the printers in Europe. When they came back, it was noticed that they forgot the country name (not the printers fault). They decided to issue it anyway, since the country name was at the bottom of the coat of arms, although not really legible. They could not afford a reprint. |

When the price of postage went up 5 cents NZ post quickly produced the 5 cent "Blob" - no country but the red envelope design might help ID it. |

Sorry Rod, right country but wrong stamp.
The upper right 8 characters is the country name for Montenegro.
However, you are correct that Montenegro has examples that DO NOT have the country name inscribed on the stamp. Just not the one you showed.
Use the ones with similar basic design, but from the postage dues or receipt stamps. On those, the country name inscription has been removed/replaced. |

We can't leave out my very own home state (and my specialist area!) Victoria. There were many printings of this stamp, with different printers and many shades (1852 - 1856.). This is SG18 (1852.) Scott 14. Balf |
