I am having difficulty finding this Venezuelan stamp in the Scott Catalog.
It appears to be Type A49 however the 10c value in Scott is listed as green.
Is it listed elsewhere in the catalog?
Thanks
Eric West

I wonder if it could be type A43. The catalog states "different frames". Scott 260 is 10c vermilion and Scott 273 is 10c dark carmine.

I have Scott 260 in my collection. It looks identical to yours. So, depending on perforation, it's Scott 260 or 273, in my opinion.

Scott type A49 is printed on bluish security paper, which yours is not.

Hope this helps.

As train wreck/Robert notes, the frames for the 1915 - 1923 series stamps differ from the A43 illustration.

The color of the stamp you posted is vermillion.

As final confirmation check the perforation. It should be 12.

Happy collecting!
