Good Afternoon Everyone,

The arguments over double impressions, re-entries, kisses, slip-prints etc... normally suit whoever is selling the item. "Many dealers would offer this as a re-entry" is a quote I'll just have to get over.

"a true re-entry exhibits additional sharply engraved lines"

The deciding factor is blurriness or sharpness and lines - all of which are subjective - meaning it comes down to human opinion.

We'll see.

Thanks for looking.

I've found many like this from the same series. I just think of them as a "wet" print. One could argue for a slip or kiss print. Definitely not a double impression or double transfer. I don't attach any extra value to them ... maybe the opposite.

FYI - The circles around the frame should be white circles without any ink.

Another case with the strongest signs in both the left and right "S". If you see anything else that stands out as a re-entry please comment.

As I said earlier, I've seen many, many of these, and probably thrown out close to 100. Here is a pair that I kept with closeups of the areas you are pointing out.
