The ink set-off on the back side indicates a flat-plate stamp, thus #498
544 is rotary and should have a clean back.

The size of the image is different between flat and rotary press. A simple test is to trim the corners on a cheap flat plate stamp and try to line up the images at the frame line in one corner. The rotary press will be larger.

If the correct stamp is supposed to be perf 11.4- it is clearly not 11.4 in the images.
